Andrew Cobb, DDS is now accepting new patients at our Washington, D.C. dental office. We provide a full range of services and treatments, but our focus is on treating adult patients who have complex dental problems and cosmetic concerns. Many patients choose to stay with us after their treatment because of our office amenities and the five-star service we provide. In addition to restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures, Dr. Cobb offers exceptional preventive care and general dentistry treatments.
What to expect from your first dentist visit
If you are a new patient of Dr. Cobb, your first visit will be a general examination and consultation. This comprehensive evaluation may include:
- Professional dental cleaning
- Dental x-rays
- Periodontal screening
- Dental caries screening
- Occlusal analysis to examine the position of the bite
Dr. Cobb spends considerable time with each patient to discuss their concerns and goals. He will evaluate the entire masticatory system, looking for the source of cosmetic and functional dental problems. Dr. Cobb will present you with all your options and help you choose the treatment that will deliver you the best results that are long-lasting, comfortable, and natural-looking.

What should I bring to my first dental appointment?
Please download our patient forms and bring them with you to your first dental appointment. If you have dental insurance, please also remember to bring that information as well. If you are seeking a second opinion or being referred by another dentist, contact our office to find out if we will need copies of your medical or dental records.
What dental insurance does Dr. Cobb accept?
While Dr. Cobb does not participate in any dental networks, we will accept most dental insurance and take care of any necessary billing and paperwork so that you can receive reimbursement for your treatment. If you have specific questions about your dental insurance, contact our office.
Does Dr. Cobb do dental implants?
Dr. Cobb does offer dental implants. He will design a treatment plan and coordinate the surgical placement of the dental implant with a periodontist or oral surgeon. Dr. Cobb will complete the implant restoration either with a dental crown, hybrid bridge or denture in our Washington, D.C. dental office.
