Comprehensive Evaluation: Every treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation. During the evaluation, Dr. Cobb will thoroughly examine the teeth, mouth, gums, jaw joints, and muscles. With the results of the evaluation, Dr. Cobb will be able to determine if you have any underlying dental issues that may contribute to damaged teeth. Dr. Cobb will address any underlying dental concerns before treating any cosmetic issues.

Digital Imaging and Models: Without making any changes to the teeth, Dr. Cobb can use 2-D and 3-D models to plan your treatment. Patients will also get to gauge what their final results will look like during this step in the treatment planning stage.

Preparation: Once the treatment is planned, Dr. Cobb will need to prepare your teeth for bonding. A small amount of surface structure is removed from the affected teeth.Dr. Cobb will take impressions of the teeth and send them to a dental lab for fabrication.

In most cases, Dr. Cobb will fit you for provisional veneers to protect your teeth while you wait for your porcelain veneers. On average, the porcelain veneers process takes about 2-3 weeks.

Final Placement: During your final visit, Dr. Cobb will check the fit and comfort of your porcelain veneers. Once you are both satisfied with the porcelain veneers, Dr. Cobb will permanently bond them to the teeth, and finish with a light polish to give them a beautiful shine.
